In Karakol, the traditional winter tourism fair KARAKOL FAIR was held on holidays. From 5 to 7 January, craftsmen from all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic came to the city. They presented their products, which could not only be admired, but also bought, held workshops. The guests of the fair were presented by performers - vocal and choreographic ensemble "Uchkulan", honored artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Igor Vorontsov, ethnic groups.

At the fair there was a lot of tasty food. National dishes of different peoples living in Karakol, you could try. The apotheosis of the culinary part of the holiday was a grandiose Plov-show from the best masters of the city of Osh and restaurateurs destinations Karakol. Pilov was prepared from rice grown in Kyrgyzstan.

Mayor of Karakol Ermat Jumaev recalled that in 2022 Karakol was the cultural capital of the CIS. And this fair has become special, even more massive and massive.
