In the Kyrgyz Republic in a few days you can find yourself in all seasons. Hot summer in Bishkek and Osh, harsh winter on the mountain peaks and colorful off-season on the way to them. There are places where at certain times of the year you can feel all the seasons in one walk.
94 percent of the country's territory is mountains. Approximately half of the area is above 1500 meters above sea level. Glaciers make up about 4 percent of the country's territory.
The highest point is Pobeda Peak (7,439 meters above sea level). There are other seven-thousanders: Pobeda Peak and Khan-Tengri Peak. 
The capital of the Kyrgyz Republic - Bishkek - is a city where mountains are visible from any point. They encircle the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic from the south and you can get to them in just half an hour.
The Kyrgyz Republic is located in the northeast of Central Asia in the very center of the Eurasian continent. The length of the republic from west to east is 900 kilometers, and from north to south - 450 kilometers. 
The country borders on the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. 
The Kyrgyz Republic is a country of almost all climatic zones. Due to the diversity of the Kyrgyz landscape and microclimate, there are semi-deserts, deciduous coniferous forests, and even alpine high mountain systems. 
Due to the variety of climatic conditions and landscapes in Kyrgyzstan, along with bears and high mountain argali, there are semi-desert tortoises and lizards. 
The pearl of the Kyrgyz Republic is Lake Issyk-Kul. It ranks seventh in the list of the deepest lakes in the world and is one of the 30 largest in terms of area.
There are rainbow mountains in Kyrgyzstan - "Sary-Too". These mountainsare like a cut layer cake, in which you can see all the colors that exist innature: terracotta, turquoise, citrine, emerald, sand, black, purple.Once these coloredmountains were the bottom of the ancient Sarmatian sea.
The most legendary and mysterious cave of Central Asia Kan-i-Gut is located in Kyrgyz Republic. The cave mine consists of numerous grottoes,deep, up to 40 meters, gaps, narrow intertwining tunnels and corridors. The length of the cave is more than sixkilometers.
