Alamedin gorge

The Alamedin Gorge is just a 20-minute drive from Bishkek. This is the closest alpine gorge to the capital, and therefore the flow of tourists here is usually large.

On this trip, a tourist will have an easy hiking to Alamedin waterfall. The length of the route is about 5 kilometers from the car park, and therefore the trip to the Alamedin gorge is suitable for everyone.

The waterfall in the winter

The Alamedin gorge is known for its hot radon springs. There is a sanatorium, where everyone can improve their health by spending half an hour in a hot pool. Procedures with use of mineral water help to treat sleeping disorders, stress and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Drinking water from natural springs perfectly cleanses the body and has a beneficial effect on functioning of the liver and gallbladder.

For those wishing to stay longer in the gorge, there are hotels, as well as a picturesque island in the riverbed of the river of same name, where you can set up a tent camp.
