Issyk-Kul Lake

The pearl of the Kyrgyz Republic is Issyk-Kul lake. It ranks seventh in the list of the deepest lakes in the world and is one of the 30 largest in terms of area. It has the cleanest air, protected nature, mountains that can be reached on foot, moderately salty oxygenated water and a lot of entertainment for every taste - from water parks to kayaking, from horseback riding to diving.

There are many historical places near the coast - here are the stones with which, according to legend, Tamirlan spoke, and the sunken monastery where the relics of the Christian St. Matthew rest, and the unique open-air petroglyph museum, and a small salt lake, the water in which is similar in composition to water Dead Sea. And there are also many picturesque gorges with rivers, lakes, waterfalls and forests. Walking along which you can feel like a real nomad.
