The mountain peak Kochkor-Ata, located in the middle of a flat area, is considered as a mazar - a place of power.
Kochkor-Ata mazar is a group of rocky mountains about 20 meters high. According to legend, the patron of the mountain can suddenly appear in the form of a white camel (AkTailak) and suddenly disappear. Since ancient times, this event has been regarded as a good sign.
The place is actively visited by pilgrims from Kyrgyzstan and other countries of Central Asia.
