The pass itself leads to the famous Son-Kol Lake. It is located at analtitude of 3,437 meters above the sea level. At the same time, an incredible view of the alpine lake opens up already in the middle of the path.

Trekking through the pass can be called medium-difficult. Near the passthere is a green pasture with aromatic grass and a valley with yurts, where youcan taste kumis (a national drink made from mare's milk). There is also anothermountain lake - Tuz-Ashuu within walking distance.
