Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon is a clay canyon with bizarre weathering sites and colored clay.
Mountains made of multi-colored clays, minerals and rocks take unusual forms under the influence of winds and the sun: the mountain can turn into a castle or an ancient animal; the wind can give it the silhouette of a forest or an intricate geometric figure.
Some of these “natural sculptures” already have their own names, the most popular is “Chinese Wall”.
Soil erosion has been going on for thousands of years here.
Skazka Canyon is very popular among tourists because of the incredible beauty and contrasts, as well as the existing access road.
